Operations
Process optimization and the safe, effective, and efficient administration of all refining processes fall under the purview of the operations department. Its primary responsibility is to reliably run the different off-site operations and refining processes to generate and deliver products that adhere to specifications. The department’s field workers work three 8-hour alternating shifts.
Health, Safety, Environment & Quality
In order to guarantee the safe functioning of the refinery and the safety of all refinery personnel, the HSEQ department is in charge of assuring the effective management of health, safety, environment, and quality. It is responsible for establishing guidelines and monitoring adherence to both corporate policy and governmental laws in order to control workplace emissions and dangers. It also takes proactive steps to increase knowledge and awareness of industry best practices, established standards, and lessons learned for ongoing enhancement of HSEQ-related performance in the refinery.
